5 Ways to Stay Fit: Ride, Fly, Swing, Climb, and Dance

2006

Spring is here and, for most of us, it’s the time of year for rejuvenation. Slipping out from under the cathartic grip of “winter” and into the sunlight, brings a refreshing energetic vibe.  The trail is packed with runners and the gyms are at full capacity.  As this is my favorite time of the year to try new things, I like to explore my options of “fitness entertainment”. Yes, just like many of you, I suffer from boredom of the typical fitness routine and need to be entertained and motivated while sweating.   Without further ado, I’ve created my list of the top five Austin companies to visit this spring that promote fitness in a unique way.

Ride Indoor Cycling

Co-owned by the incredible David Garza, this new cycling studio opened its doors just steps away from the Moody Theater. Sophistication is an understatement, as everything is top of the line from the moment you walk into the studio.  Schwinn AC Performance bikes provide the best ride one can dream off and the incredible customized playlists will rock you out of your seat.   It’s like going to the dance club but sitting on a bike.   The motto holds true. Ride. Rock. Repeat.
