From Jan. 27 to March 2, 2017, Romain Delahaye a.k.a. Molécule spent 34 nonstop days traveling over 4,986 nautical miles, 56-foot-high waves, carrying 200 kilos of music equipment and enduring 13-hour recording sessions to arrive at his latest musical project, “Musique Polaire.” Molécule left France to record an album in the extreme conditions of Greenland, isolated for more than a month to develop an unprecedented sound experience in the far north with a unique dogma: composing entirely in situ music in one of the most inhospitable regions on the planet. The album was co-published by Because Music and HEADBANGERS PUBLISHING.

In addition to “Musique Polaire” being an album, it is also a transmedia project featuring a medium length documentary, a VR exhibition, a web series and several clips and contents for social media platforms. The project is produced by ZORBA, in collaboration with Because Music, HEADBANGERS PUBLISHING and Miala.
