ARTIST SPOTLIGHT: MICHAEL WILKINSON
The Austin Film Society, Julian Gold and the Harry Ransom Center present a special tribute to the work of Academy-Award Nominated costume designer, Michael Wilkinson (AMERICAN HUSTLE) on Sunday, November 16. The evening will include a cocktail reception and an intimate conversation with Wilkinson featuring clips and never-before-seen illustrations and photos. As an extra special treat, select costumes from Wilkinson’s previous work will be on display in the lobby. The conversation will be moderated by Hollywood’s “Ms. 411 Costume” herself, Bobi Garland, director of the 100-year old Western Costume Company’s Research Library.
