Present Company’s 4th annual Shakespeare at the Market, ROMEO & JULIET, runs October 13th – 29th on the rooftop of the downtown Austin flagship Whole Foods Market.
Grab a picnic and bottle of wine and join us on the roof of Whole Foods Market for a modern-day retelling of Romeo & Juliet with non-traditional casting…
Promoting the philosophy of Accessible Art, SHAKESPEARE AT THE MARKET is FREE. A suggested $20 donation supports the artists and event. RSVPs highly recommended.

The Creative Arts Society, established in 1999, is an Austin based, non-profit 501(c) (3) thriving arts organization actively promoting the development of the “Artist in Everyone” for the expanding growth and diversity of our community. Our vision is to be a vital presence in the community inspiring: Cultural enrichment, Community participation, and respect for diversity. AIDS Walk Austin

In its 30th year, AIDS Walk Austin returns to Republic Square Park on October 29, 2017. Benefiting AIDS Services of Austin and 10 sharing agencies, this event brings together people (and pets) from all walks of life!
Join us for an afternoon of celebration and remembrance of those affected by HIV. Begin the day with a festival in the park featuring live music by The Nightowls, food trucks, craft vendors, yoga in the park with Eastside Yoga and other activities, and then walk the 2.5 mile route that uses the Capital as a round-about.
The importance of this event is immeasurable. Every step that is taken creates a step up for a person in need. Join us as we walk to decrease stigma, raise awareness, and build healthier futures for Central Texans.

This unique, hour-long production is a visual treat for all ages and a great way to introduce children ages 2 and older to the ballet. Our apprentice company, Ballet Austin II, delights with a show that turns nighttime darkness into a place to laugh, sing, clap, dream, dance, and do everything imaginable, except be afraid! Explore a young boy’s dreams, and with the help of special lighting effects, see how the dark is never scary when you focus on “the light!”
