Texas Campaign for the Environment's Trash Makeover Challenge

Trash Makeover Challenge is a unique competition for innovators in the fashion industry to highlight creative reuse by showcasing outfits made from 90% recycled materials and reconstructed textiles.
Join us for “LIVING MASTERPIECES” fashion show exhibit where teams will take famous art paintings as inspiration to create designs with a smart twist. The “LIVING MASTERPIECES museum exhibit” will feature small inspiration pieces showcasing materials used in the team’s design. The inspiration items will be included in the silent auction!
Enjoy complimentary food & drinks from local favorites, a sweet silent auction, and a unique fashion show that challenges designers to make clothing out of repurposed materials followed by an over-the-top dance party!

In Stephen Mills’ production of Shakespeare’s classic tale of star-crossed lovers, you’ll be swept away by the indelible memories of first love. Passions explode and bitter rivalries are put to rest through Mills’ classical choreography, which leverages every note in Sergei Prokofiev’s majestic. In this hopelessly romantic season opener, experience anew this timeless “story of woe, of Juliet and her Romeo.”
