Elegantly Queer Tango Class

Q Toys, Austin TX
02/12/2017 | 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm

Come and dance, mingle and shop! Perfect for beginners!

Come as you are and discover the subtle and elegant dance of tango in the company of friends and allies. Queer Tango is gender non-conforming and you can choose to learn and dance either role of leader or follower. All classes and events are open and affirming. We welcome all genders and sexual identities.

Immerse yourself into the dance world of tango. In this century-old elegant dance you will move to the music of the ‘Golden Era’ as well as modern tunes.

No partner necessary and no experience required. Come with two left feet! We will have several right feet and are waiting for you!

Leather (yes, we like leather) soled shoes recommended. We will pivot on the dance floor, so wear shoes that are secure on the feet and don’t grip the floor. Socks without shoes can substitute.

So strap-on your shoes and harness your inner elegance as you ease your way into the subtle world of tango.

Pricing:
$12 in advance
$15 at the door

TobyMac’s 2017 “HITS DEEP Tour” will stop at H-E-B Center at Cedar Park on Sunday, February 12th. The diverse lineup for the 30-arena U.S. tour includes Matt Maher, Mandisa, Mac Powell from Third Day, Capital Kings, Ryan Stevenson and Hollyn. HITS DEEP Tour is presented by K-LOVE/AIR1, Food for the Hungry and Awakening Events.

“I always get excited when it’s time to create the ‘HITS DEEP Tour’ line-up. I love the idea of putting together artists that are just starting their journey with veterans, electronic artists with organic artistry and colors of skin that demonstrate God’s diverse kingdom. We come together backstage – which leads us to a beautiful night on stage. A night deep in hits, that aims to hit you deep. A night where everybody is invited to the party!” – TobyMac

TobyMac’s seventh studio album This is Not A Test, is an American Music Award’s winner. The album continues to have an unstoppable year earning a GRAMMY® Award, a Billboard Music Award nod, three upcoming GMA Dove Award nominations and two back-to-back No. 1 hits at Christian radio, with “Backseat Driver” and “Move (Keep Walkin’)”.
