Opening Reception Sunday Jan 8 2017 5pm-7pm

Exhibit Jan 8-22, 2017 Link & Pin presents En Route Productions first installation of The Winter Modern, a moving art installation, and their production of Sarah Ruhl’s “Dead Man’s Cell Phone”, a dark-edged, absurd, romantic comedy.  This beautiful play, a work of art in itself, will incorporate an original soundscape, projection, and beautiful set that will create an immersive experience of sound, visual, and moving theatrical art.

During regular gallery hours, the installation of set, sound, and projection will be available for a unique, immersive art experience for all to experience.  Please stop by, sit in the cafe’ with paper houses hanging above you, rain projected behind you, and a cell phone ballet swirling in sound around you.

There will be an opening reception to talk with the artists that created this installation on Sunday, January 8th, from 5-7pm before the play.  Libations and lively conversation provided and please stay for the actual production following at 8pm. There is no charge for the reception but tickets are required for the performance. The play will be running evenings and afternoons January 7th-23rd. It’s never to early to begin planning celebrations for 2017! Come enjoy Art for the People’s first group exhibition of the year: ART for All + ALL for Art.

We have come together with Art from the Streets to create this special exhibition of art created by homeless and formerly homeless artists.

Please help us get the word out out so folks can come check out our fine art gallery and get different view of Austin’s homeless community and their incredible talent!
