Young, “one of country music’s most reliable hitmakers” (USA Today) has accomplished more than some artists do in a lifetime. Already a Grammy-nominated recording artist, he’s also a dynamic live performer with six albums to his credit, including his just-released album, It Must Be Christmas and his ACM-nominated album, I’m Comin’ Over, that opened at #1 on Billboard’s Top Country Albums chart last November. Young plays a powerhouse show packed with his hits and is known for his classic baritone, his melt-your-heart ballads and is winning audiences across the globe.

In just over 10 years, Casey Donahew has risen from being a favorite on the local Texas music scene to a nationally popular touring act who consistently sells out venues across the country. From Red Rocks to his regular stomping ground, Billy Bob’s Texas, Donahew burns up stages of all sizes, serving up his own sizzling brand of country to his devoted eager fans. Donahew has topped the Texas charts time and again with each single, racking up TWELVE No. 1 singles throughout the course of his impressive, self-made career.

Requiem for Tesla

The Off Center, Austin Texas
12/15/2016 | 8:00 pm - 9:30 pm

Requiem for Tesla is a semi-biographical, sci-fi homage to Nikola Tesla, a genius inventor who loved pigeons, hated spherical objects and was undoubtedly one of the most fascinating and controversial figures of all time. Requiem for Tesla is an ecstatic and evocative tribute to the man who gave us alternating current and dreamed of spaceships in a time when even electricity was dangerous magic. Tesla’s impassioned efforts to improve the quality of life for humankind left him straddling a line between genius and insanity.

Rude Mechs’ high-voltage stage-collage honoring the genius/madman fuses electrical magic, subconscious desire, and a real message from Mars. Featuring an hallucinatory Mark Twain, live music, and a spine-tingling Tesla coil all combust in this sci-fi electromagnetic polyphase dynamo play.
