The wait is finally over…..

The brand new Articulture gallery-boutique’s opening week is Jan 12-17. The innovative design firm specializes in living plant design. Items will range from small, gifty home decor items to grand vertical living walls and Living Furniture.

Splice Records, an independent record label in Houston, is pleased to present as one of the title sponsors of the 8th Annual Bowie Elvis Fest being held on January 14, 2017 from 7:00 p.m. to 1:00 a.m. at the Empire Control Room and Garage. Honoring the January 8th birthdays of David Bowie and Elvis, two of the most loved and influential artists of the previous century, this year’s annual incarnation will feature eight bands, an “Oh You Pretty Things” costume fashion contest, themed games and an appearance by Houston’s heralded burlesque troupe, Dem Damn Dames. This year will also feature a moment of tribute to the fallen Starman himself, David Bowie, who passed 24 hours after last year’s event. Bowie left the world too soon but it may be the coolest exit in human history and we plan to take a one special moment at the end of the night to salute his passing properly.

It may be the first year Austin experiences BowiElvis Fest, but it certainly won’t be the last—and it’s definitely a night to remember!
