Manos de Cristo, local nonprofit benefiting low-income individuals in the Austin area, is now accepting orders for their annual tamale fundraiser. All proceeds will benefit the organization’s dental, basic needs, and education programs that serve over 23,846 adults, children and seniors in the community.

The tamales offered by Manos de Cristo are gluten-free and come in pork, jalapeño pork, chicken, non-vegetarian bean and vegetarian varieties at $13 per dozen. Manos de Cristo welcomes large group orders, as they are perfect for holiday parties, family gatherings and everyday meals. To place an order online, visit www.manosdecristo.org/tamales. Tamales pick-up set for Friday, December 4 from 12:00 to 3:00 p.m.in the Manos de Cristo Education wing located at 4911 Harmon Avenue, Austin, TX 78751.

LGBTQ+ vendors will be featured at The Sanctuary Event Space (1006 S. 8th Street, ATX 78704), home of the Amala Foundation non-profit organization. The event will be hosted on Friday, November 6th, 2015 from 7:00pm-10:00pm, followed by an After Party at The Highball (1120 S. Lamar, ATX 78704). The Sanctuary Event Space will be presented in fashion: 3 Of Cups Design + Florals will be showcasing handmade floral arrangements with fresh blooms provided by Mayesh Wholesale Florist, as well as full event design incorporating lighting installations by Art Seen Alliance and decor furniture from Padre Made and Premiere Events. Complimentary bites will be provided by Royal Fig Catering, Sweet Treets Bakery, and the FRAICHE Food Truck. Drink Slingers Bartending Co. will be serving Dripping Springs Vodka + Gin speciality cocktails. HAUTE European Salon will style your look in the Bridal Suite Loft before you have your portrait taken by Erica Nix from Austin Queer Weddings Photography. Roaming event photographers from Bellwether Photo and videographers from FG FILMHOUSE will capture the event. Take home a poem from Untouched Poetry and a picture from the Traveling Photo Booth. Bust a move on the dance floor with DJ Girlfriend and Jeremy von Stilb aka DJ MOUTHFEEL ATX. And moonwalk your way across Treadwell street for the After Party at The Highball with DJ Diesel and special guests.
