Manos de Cristo, local nonprofit benefiting low-income individuals in the Austin area, is now accepting orders for their annual tamale fundraiser. All proceeds will benefit the organization’s dental, basic needs, and education programs that serve over 23,846 adults, children and seniors in the community.

The tamales offered by Manos de Cristo are gluten-free and come in pork, jalapeño pork, chicken, non-vegetarian bean and vegetarian varieties at $13 per dozen. Manos de Cristo welcomes large group orders, as they are perfect for holiday parties, family gatherings and everyday meals. To place an order online, visit www.manosdecristo.org/tamales. POP AUSTIN, one of the most exciting contemporary art events to ever take place in Austin, Texas, returns for its second year.

POP Austin International Art Show and Art Alliance Austin Present “POP Talks”, a global discussion with the artists from the 2015 “Illumination” Exhibit. POP Talks will take place on Friday, Oct. 23 from 5 to 7 p.m. at The North Door located at 501 Brushy St, Austin, TX 78702. The event is free and open to the public.
