Help us kickoff AFW 2015 with a night of indulgence at Speakeasy. Marvel at the hair and makeup and vintage style show inspired by decades from the 20th century.

Envision yourself at the iconic Cotton Club or the Copa Cabana – it comes to life at the new Shoal Crossing Social Club. Dining, dancing and romance to the sounds of the rat pack, with a modern update.

Based on Lyndon Baines Johnson’s prolific first year as President, ALL THE WAY is written by Pulitzer Prize-winning playwright Robert Schenkkan and features a cast of 20 actors depicting many of the 20th Century’s most famous leaders including Martin Luther King, Jr., J. Edgar Hoover, Governor George Wallace, Senator Hubert Humphrey, Secretary of Defense Robert J. McNamara and President Johnson himself.

Under the direction of Artistic Director Acia Gray (premiere member of the Austin Arts Hall of Fame by the Austin Critic’s Table), this exciting evening brings the rhythms and colors from around the world in a collaborative evening of tradition and contemporary creation with the artists of Tapestry Dance Company.

JACOB’S LADDER is a play about the collision of patriotism and culture. With insight, wit and a dash of 1940’s panache, we watch a hero who’s not born but cornered.
