More than four decades have passed since Crosby, Stills & Nash (CSN) first took the stage as a trio at the legendary Woodstock festival. Since then the group continues to be enduring, creatively influential, and a cornerstone of rock ‘n’ roll.

Known for intricate vocal harmonies, David Crosby, Stephen Stills and Graham Nash’s music ranges from acoustic folk to melodic pop to hard rock. Their unique vocal blend com- bined with their political activism in the 1970s led them to become a staple to American music. With each member coming from other hugely successful bands like The Byrds, Buffalo Springfield, and The Hollies, it led CSN to be known as the world’s first “supergroup.”

The group’s 1969 self-titled debut album hit #6 on Billboard’s pop albums chart with two Top 40 hits, “Marrakesh Express” and “Suite: Judy Blue Eyes,” which eventually paved the way for a Grammy for Best New Artist. It also made the cut for Rolling Stone’s Greatest Albums of All Time.

Since they first started out, Crosby, Stills and Nash all have been inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and the Songwriter’s Hall of Fame— twice.

What’s better than watching rock legends perform for the night? CSN performing at renowned ACL Live at the Moody Theatre, a staple to the “live music capital of the world.” The new upgraded venue, which holds up to 2,700 lucky fans, is home to live tapings and sold-out shows. This combination of greatness doesn’t happen very often. Relive the CSN classics like “Guinnevere” and “Wooden Ships” in this intimate downtown venue.

Through tumultuous interpersonal relationships, changing times and distinguished solo careers and a whole lot of rock ‘n’ roll, Crosby, Stills & Nash have made a lasting influence on American music and culture.
