Move over Charlie Brown, Tammie Brown’s taking over. Many may remember the quirky and witty drag performer from season one of the popular reality series RuPaul’s Drag Race, but now, the famous drag artist is looking to spread some holiday cheer. This Sunday, experience Tammie’s parody of the holiday classic A Charlie Brown Christmas as she stars in her very own A Tammie Brown Christmas. The play is followed by her holiday concert Holiday Sparkle, featuring both traditional and original songs fitting for the holiday season.
The event benefits the Austin International Drag Foundation and features a silent holiday auction with items up for bid including tickets to shows at the Salvage Vanguard Theater, a hand-sculpted “Divine” art doll from artist Vinsantos of Kreeture New Orleans and a plethora of work from artists from all over the country.
