2008: Silver Box Event presented by L Style G Style benefiting Equality Texas:

The Silver Box Event was created by L Style G Style as a fundraiser benefiting Equality Texas and was held on December 4, 2008. The newly opened Monarch (venue of this signature event) was decorated in silver splendor. The four-hour evening featured performances by The Kris Kimura Quartet and The Capital City Men's Chorus kicked off to the holiday season – and still has people talking. The room was filled with 350 plus attendees. Our prized food and beverage partners served many delectable items and signature cocktails throughout the evening at fourteen stations around the room. At the center of the room, a twelve tiered five foot silver box filled with raffle items valued at as much as $1500. Each guest departed with a silver gift bag valued at more than $100 of lovely reminders of this meaningful evening. The evening raised more than $25,000 for Equality Texas. L Style G Style is proud to play this role for non-profits and accepts no more than three opportunities per year. 

2009: 5x7 Art Splurge & Exhibition 10th Anniversary benefiting Arthouse at the Jones Center:

Alisa Weldon, Oliver Everette and L Style G Style major supporter Sharon Gerhardt accepted the invitation to Chair the 10th Anniversary of the 5x7 - the largest annual fundraiser for Arthouse at the Jones Center. The invitation was extended with the sole purpose of reaching a more diverse audience. The event took place on Saturday, May 15th with a two exhibition. The 5x7 Art Splurge and Exhibition featured more than 750 artists displaying more than 1500 pieces of work. Alisa and Oliver aligned advertiser partner Four Hands Home as the 10th Anniversary presenting sponsor. Additionally, they called upon their supporters & advertisers Whole Foods Market, Zocalo & Galaxy Cafe, Savvy Vodka, Twin Liquors and Capital Beverage. The master of ceremonies was L Style G Style March/April 2008 G cover profile Paul Solieau as Rebecca Havemeyer. Unique to this anniversary event was a special 8x10 Silent Auction. Artist Graydon Parrish (L Style G Style’s November/December 2008 profile) donated his first production White Roses under Freedom Red valued at more than $20,000. The evening surpassed all prior years raising more than $125,000. All funds raised support art programs throughout the year and help maintain free exhibits to the public.

2010: L Style G Style presents 1st Annual Fur Fesival Benefit, benefiting Animal Trustees of Austin

Holiday pet photo booth with Annie Ray, nutritional talk with Nulo.com, massages by milk+honey spa, training tips, learn about medicinal compounds from Live Oak Pharmacy, toe nail clipping with West End Grooming, Subaru car display, retail items from MetroDog, raffle items, giveaways and much, much more! This first event brought more than 600 attendees with more than 90% attending having brought their dogs. This event was promoted with more than six media outlets (News 8 Austin, Austin American-Statesman, the Austinist, Austin Chronicle, L Style G Style, and other media blogs).
